This robust and rustic Storytelling chair is made from #hickory with a few #blackwalnut slices added for balance and support. It’s intended use is for creative storytelling. I believe it was my second chair so there are a few flaws but a sturdy seat to get creative in just the same. For me hickory is a playful wood. It has been happily used over the years for toys, baseball bats, golf clubs, nicknames for tough old men, the smoking of good foods & so much more. #walnut #birch & #iroko wood woven together into a large lazy Susan. This one lives at my parents house. We use it when we all play cards around the big table. It gets loud with laughter and the longer we play the funnier everything becomes.
